






















































The present parish church a former Methodist place of worship was purchased in 1965. Much financial input and renovation work has adapted the interior of the church to accommodate Orthodox Christian services. His Majesty King Peter II Karadjordjevic attended the consecration on 11th April 1966. The church property has two function halls, a car park and a vicarage for the parish priest.
The jurisdiction of the parish comprises South Western, Eastern Scotland and Northern England. The counties of West Yorkshire, East Yorkshire, Linconshire and South Yorkshire. Around Halifax, Huddersfield, Bradford, Leeds, Wakefield, Mexborough and Doncaster. In the county of Lancashire Manchester, Rochdale and Bury. On Merseyside around the city of Liverpool.

The church is situated just 5 minutes from Halifax town centre, on the A647 Boothtown Road, opposite Rawson Infant and Junior School. Driving from the M1 exist at Junction 42, take the M62 westbound and exit at Junction 26 (A58), follow the signs for Halifax and (A647) Boothtown.
